The Envision ™ rating system, which aims to make infrastructure projects environmentally friendly, economical, healthy and participatory, is the most valid green infrastructure certification in the world.
Envision ™ is the most valid Green Infrastructure Certification System in the world. Many infrastructure projects have to be built for the needs of the society, except for business center, housing and similar building constructions. The main ones of these infrastructures are roads, bridges, railways, dams, pipelines, tunnels, urban transport and subways. Envision ™ rating system, which aims to make infrastructure projects environmentally friendly, economical, healthy and participatory, is a voluntary certification system. ECOBUILD is entitled to Envision ™ Controller.

Envision ™ Green Infrastructure Certificate was developed by the ISI-Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure and Harvard University Zofnass Program and is awarded by ISI. ISI-Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure, founded by the United States Chamber of Civil Engineers, the American Engineering Companies Council, and APWA, is a Washington-based organization. As of April 2012, the Envision ™ 2.0 certification process has started.

Quality of Life
The Quality of Life dimension is the Envision ™ dimension that measures how the infrastructure built affects people's quality of life. This category examines how the infrastructure project affects the surrounding society in terms of development and growth. In addition, the project is aimed to have the lowest negative impact on the surrounding society. Infrastructure projects should be close to public transportation lines and should interact with public transportation. The Quality of Life dimension examines the use of local labor in infrastructure projects.
Leadership
The leadership dimension is the Envision ™ dimension that measures how the synergy of the infrastructure built with other systems occurs. In this category, the realization of the infrastructure project with the participation of all stakeholders in the surrounding society, having long-term monitoring and maintenance plans, extending the useful life of the project and the sustainability management system of infrastructures are examined.
Resource Allocation
The Resource Utilization dimension is the Envision ™ dimension that measures the utilization performance of natural resources in infrastructure construction and operation. In this category, life cycle analysis of materials used in infrastructure projects, LCA, use of local materials, use of sustainable materials, fresh water and drinking water use are examined.
Natural World
The Natural World dimension is the Envision ™ dimension, which aims to protect natural life and measures the wildlife protection performance of projects and infrastructure constructions. In this category, the approach of infrastructure construction to sensitive geographic areas, agricultural production areas, recreation areas, biodiversity, soil resources, wetlands and surface water, rainwater and water pollution is examined.
Climate and Resilience
The Climate and Risk dimension is the Envision ™ dimension that manages and measures the sensitivity of infrastructure projects to climate change and infrastructure risks arising from future climate change. This category examines the infrastructure project's approach to greenhouse gas emission reduction, air pollutant emission reduction, heat island effect management, and long-term climate adaptation.
